New to Detecting

I have wanted to try this hobby for some time. I live in an area where there are at least 30 abandoned mining/ghost towns. I'm sure they have been hunted a lot but I do a lot of research and have spotted several places that have only footpaths to them. Anyway, glad to have a new hobby and maybe find a hunting buddy in my area.

I got several barbers and some IH's, etc.... from the city of Prescott , on some family visits there back in the early '90s. So there's stuff to be found in your area Unless, as you say, pounded to death since then
