New forum, what happened?

I noticed that the text for hot links is not colored, so it’s difficult to differentiate the hot link from the rest of the text in the post. Hot link text is normally a bright color, such as red.

I also noticed that there’s a page up arrow, but not a page down arrow. A page down arrow would be very helpful.

Also, my avatar is blurry now.

The new forum software can use a larger image for your avatar, so it is trying to stretch the previous one. Try re-uploading the pic for it, and that should fix it.

Don't know if this something to worry about , but tonight at 1045pm was checking out Current Visitors top left of fomum , I noticed Robots checking out profiles , Robot -Sogou , Robot Facebook , Robot Google , Robot Bing , some were not on the profice page , all over , I changed my security settings to members only , just want to bring this up to the Owners & Administration , looking out , Earl

Am hoping rule #5 will apply to youtube videos, at least those who only post a youtube link and say "You won't believe what I found !!" without any backstory or pics to go along with it, I get sick of people scrounging for clicks - Or a dedicated subforum only for youtube videos would work too - In fact would be ideal as those who like that stuff could easily find it, and those who don't can easily avoid it.

That is common for search engine bots to go through forums to index it for search results.

There are pretty much always bots roaming around the forums, even on the old one, they were just a little harder to see when they were on.
The bots go through and view pages so that when people search keywords on like Google or Bing, etc. the forum will show up for search results.

Guess I won't be posting pics anymore. I use a smartphone only and have to go through Tapatalk because I can change the size easily if needed. Well , the forum isn't registered on there now , rendering that site useless. This site it shows my pics are to big. Can't change size from my phone. Oh well.....

Cfm-ct -reply , Yes the I Trader information loss would stink , as it was critical for sales , that limited scam , fraud , to a minimum , one last thing besides I Trader return is , what another member posted , an upgrade on size , pixel , quality of pictures we are able to post , bought a new camera 4k , not sure if it has Macro or not , but many of my pictures , I was not able to post on the old site , besides those two thing's wishing - that would come, Vlad has done a great job , I like it , thanks again for the hard work upgrading the forum PS If its a software upgrade- to be able to post regular camera shot's, I would be willing to made a donation to do so , Earl PS On the cool & creative side , added colors to different forums like Beach- blues & sands , Dirt Greens & browns , Nugget Desert Browns ect. would be cool , easy on the eye colors .

I also used Tapatalk for photos.

As a substitute you can use a free app called Compress on your phone to reduce the size of your photos.

My question is how to now post gifs, since Tapatalk no longer works?

The picture icon between the paperclip and smiley can be used to post gifs if gifs are not too large.

Yeah I noticed that things were getting testy with some testers.
How about post counts and join dates, lost to time ? Not very important obviously, just something used to seeing, everyone looks so generic without it.
