Water Hunting partner designed and made them in the hope when he retired he could sell them. Strange scoop and design, made so you could take it a part and replace the broken or worn piece. He gave out about ten of them to be tested, their are a few still alive, mine broke finally and I could have fixed them but Greg, the maker decided to park the diablo scoop project and stay focused on his government related work. He's yet to retire 13 years later.Never seen that before. Did you make it yourself ? The way I would look at it though is you got 6 years out of it. Not bad.
I liked the scoop because it was Big.. lite and drained fast// Next to the 720..
Just looking at it you would think it would be weak but the thing made all kinds of noise when using it for it was made to flex.. which killed the Titanium. He made them in Aluminum and SS also.. SS was the best and seemed to out last all others.
