My have to sell

thanks everrybody. I have had multiple myeloma now for 7 years and they say i have an aggressive form of it too. Average life span for this disease is 5 years and 7 years is considered a great response. I have had 2 bone marrow transplants and uab won't do another one as the lsat one only kept it in remission for a year. I have been blessed to have been able to live this long and I should be going on some chemo today. There are a lot of chemos I have not tried yet for this disease. But I know that sooner or later the cancer will stop responding to the chemo and that will be that.

Ah dude...

7 year battle. You are a fighter and will continue fighting! My strength is with you as you keep the good fight.

As for your E-Trac... Sell it? Nah. Take it with you, you might need it.

Sorry to hear about your relapse. Have you talked to your doctor to see if you qualify for new medical trials?

In recent years, new medications approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have transformed the way this cancer is treated. These new drugs have doubled the survival of multiple myeloma patients, progress unmatched in any other cancer. New combinations of older drugs are also proving successful. Researchers expect the picture for people with multiple myeloma to improve even more.

Sorry to hear. Just put your fists up and keep swinging.

Also if you're in a state that allows medical marijuana id be all over that. Hope you get better.

Hang in there

There are a lot of survivors out there that beat the odds. Currently both my brothers are in treatment, and fighting to beat it. God bless, Gil

only melphaline and velcade have been used thus far. The doc is going to try velcade one more time and see if it works. There are about 10 drugs I havent tried yet but I will have to try the fda approved ones first. Thanks for the info.

Sorry that it has come back...

Stay strong and keep fighting. 7 years battling this horrid disease is a testament to your strength and fortitude.

All I have in my head right now is Fight the Good Fight from Triumph:
