I'm pretty sure I found the person on facebook. She has her high school and graduation year on her page which is the same school and year on the ring. I sent her a message, so I'll see if she replies.

I found the owner of the ring of Facebook. She had lost it ten years ago and even tried looking for it with a metal detector. She bought a replacement and sent me the pic to prove it was her ring. I'm going to give it to her next weekend.

The next gold ring i find better not have a name on it!

Congratulations! That's a nice bonus for all those pull-tabs. That is what drives me every day. I can dig up junk after junk but the next one could be a gold ring. You just never know.
