So far i don't hit anything on beaches from 10 to 28 on the scale. Gum foil is usually around 30 to 32. If you dig gold chains you know some cross into the iron range on a lot of detectors. The gold i found with a Nox that is hard to find has the same issue on a Deus II as it does with the rest of them. I don't think you are going to see many miracle gold chain finds in the small range from what i see so far. If you watch a few tests with detector vids you can sometimes see the person wants the other detector to fail. So far i can't create a miracle at the beach. But everybody is different. As far as people posting the new silver found with a DeusII they missed with everything else. I went to one of the most hammered parks in the U.S. that gets detected 365 days a year with a Whites V3i. Got four mercs in a day. Conditions were just right. Never got any more silver from that park after that day so sold the V3i
But one thing is for sure. Most of us aren't looking for a gold ring beside a bottlecap laying on a concrete slab. Knowing where you are Steve i would hold off and see what Minelab comes out with next. There are guys wanting to just sell you something. Someone already brought to light white coats skewed test with a bottlecap and a gold ring. When someone gets something for free the tests seem to work out in a biased manner sometimes. It is just odd sometimes when someone's test garden with the previous miracle detector used to work. Then when a new one comes out the old one can't find it anymore. It is called a biased test garden!
