Here is a stand I made out of some scrap 3/4 brass stock I had. I used the large fiber washers because I had them that big, they could be smaller. The idea is so the stand will not scratch the paint on the detector. I replaced the screws with ones that are just a little longer than the originals.
Make the center section of the 1/2 " longer than the detector box, ( 5 1/2") than add for the two sides. My stand is 2" high so the brass was (2 + 5.5 + 2 = 9 1/2"). Drill the two holes for the screws and bend the two sides in a vise. You can make the stand higher or wider. Keeps the detector off the ground when I'm digging. Rob
