Marlboro?

I'm not a smoker, but I know what Marlboros are. I had a fair day at a new permission today. I missed a silver quarter by 1 year. I dug up a 1965 Washington. Also picked up a house key, Honda key, 9 pennies, two of which were Wheaties. Then I thought I had a quarter. It was ringing loud at 51/52. When I dug it out, I thought I had a Marshalls badge or something, I was looking at the back.
Flipped it over and this is what it was. Looks like solid brass from my signature on the edge. Opps.

I've never smoked but seems everyone around me was smoking these cigs. That being said, I have never seen such a cool advertising badge like that. Congrats.

It was for a key chain, from the 1980's I believe. Nice find!

You saved up "Marlboro Miles" from packs of cigarettes , the little upc codes off the packs and redeemed them for all sorts of cool stuff. Jackets , clothing , binoculars , knives , keychains. Made people smoke more I think to save up these things. Very cool promotion...
