Not sure why all the angst about posting videos if done on their thread and not always dumping it on someone elses thread.
Don't have a problem with tnss and his threads or videos cause I just catch a few highlights of the thread and then move on. Only watched one of his videos. Metal detecting videos aren't my thing so I just choose to ignore them. But someone really bored might find them fascinating.

I can't stand minelab tones so I ignore all minelab threads, which meant for a couple years there weren't much to read here. If the new one is any good, I'll have a whole bunch more to ignore.

I thought you swore to never ever touch a Nokta Makro product ever again a while back? Or am i wrong? Same for white coat. You two got some sort of weird thing for Nokta Makro that is for sure! A true honor to intimidation by a much cheaper detector that scares some people who spent too much on detectors and try to condone their behavior!

Not only did those 2 swear off NM , but how about TNSS saying he would never do videos ? Making up lies to cover up more lies is something I've always had an issue with. Look , if the guy just admitted he was wrong or said he changed his mind and decided to start making videos for all to see , fine , I could deal with that. But all you get is more nonsensical excuses. Oh well.....Itsaring , don't you own a D2 and hunt hardcore on the beach ? Haven't you had some problems with it ? But when you talk about or ask questions about those problems , what do you get ? Any solutions or just excuses ?

Tn actually told me to sell it a couple times. He can't deal with Deus ll problems. You actually got to be on the Deus ll FB groups as likely with the Manta for a bit of unbiased info. You will get a bashing there a bit, but can see some real issues that arise. Hopefully Minelab listens better than XP from feedback from the Deus l over years. If the Manta used Nox plastic i'm out. Hopefully they used a bit of the Whites V3i technology for the screen.

I'll give you some unbiased info on the D2. I was on the beach 2 weeks ago and one of the other hunters who has the D2 came over and asked if I liked what I am seeing. I said yes. I asked him the same and he said yes as well except he thought he was digging too many bottle caps. I asked him what BC rejection he was using. Turns out it didn't matter. His BC rejection wasn't working at all. I let him listen to mine over some undisturbed bottle caps and he was miffed. He loved the way mine reacted to bottle caps.

I told him to try and update it again or call XP. His D2 was giving a great signal over any bottle cap. Mine gives the scratchy trash tone. A world of difference between the 2 detectors. I wouldn't want to use his on the beach.

It seems to me that if bottle caps are rejected, then some gold rings would be rejected.

I am willing to bet he had some settings wrong.
I will hunt BC=0 unless I keep digging a bunch of them and if I am low on time.

Tone would be totally different if it were a gold ring. I use BC 1. It doesn't eliminate the signal. It let's you know it's a BC. On my Nox those same BC's sound just like gold. However if you test a gold ring with the same vdi on the D2 in bc 1. The tone is different.

I got a Deus 2 eleven inch and a newer Deus 2 nine inch. Got my same exact programs in both. The 11"" runs a lot better that the 9 inch. You would think it would be opposite. My Excal 800 runs better in the Ocean than my Excal 1000.

I hate to say it. But i am guessing soon the couple who declares the newest detector the best ever will start all over again. The Legend is going to be picked apart against a Minelab Manti now to mess with Nokta Makro and the Deus ll will be moved into the junk section just like the Nox was done. My Nox still works just fine by the way.

Your homeboy white coat when his Nox quit finding the stuff in his test garden it used to find with no problem. I can see the hate for Nokta Makro for sure now. Why the Manti isn't getting pitted against a CTX and a Nox is apparent where that dudes agenda lies. Shame shame! I just hope the legend doesn't smoke the Manti in his yard since the EMI was messing up his Deus ll. Glad we only have to pay for gas for you two for the entertainment at Nokta Makro's expense. I hope they sue the .... out of you two one day for defamation! And yes i'd have to be a witness since i seen the bashing vids that got deleted. I will clear a spot on my calendar.

Don't think that will be the case with the Nox. There is a guy in Dallas with a new 800, never out of the box for 500 bucks. In Coppell, Texas there is a Minelab GPZ 7000 for 1600 bucks. The prices will drop with the saturation of more Nox's on the market. Excaliburs are more hunter specific being a water detector.
