The right and left hand handles are a real thing lol, one is regular threading and one is left hand thread, when you pull on the handle during a dig depending on which hand it would loosen the handle. Hope that made any sense
Thank you Tdowns. As bizarre as it sounds, that made perfect sense
Basically just a reverse thread. Same as the older style 20# propane tanks used to be.

Does anyone else use a RTG scoop? I use the RTG 6" Monster Stainless Steel Scoop. I do most my detecting in or near the surf. My scoop weighs about 7 lbs but that doesn't bother me. I see many people using lighter scoops with a different shape. Am I missing out?
