I now have the Nel thunder coil I am digging deeper targets and my lesche shark is hard to dig a deep hole. once I get a shovel deep hole and the shovel is tall an narrow, I cannot dig much deeper easily. You cannot dig in and pry or leverage the shovel to get out deep dirt. I wonder if the other lesche shovels like the Sampson are better for digging deeper holes. The only way I can get the lesche shark to go deeper is to widen the hole. I will admit the lesch shark is great in hard, rocky or areas of lots of roots on targets less that 8 inches.

any ideas? what shovel do any of you with larger coils use?

thanks

Pretty hard to get past 8-9" deep with out widening hole.

I hate my shovel like yours while on manicured yards. The jaws too narrow and you cannot cut a clean plug. Now on shallower you might get away doing, but you do run the risk of say coin damage.

Still use the 31, not all your targets will be 10" deep. If so just take another 4 steps and pop again.
