First off let me first say that I don't think the ctx is way above all detectors like some ctx snob. I've swung a F4, F5, and a at pro. My dad has a F70. The ctx is good at telling you theres a coin under the coil in trash when you spend some time with it and learn its language. I could find and ID deep wheats in trash and have my dad with the F70 swing on them and they are iffy targets. He could hit them but would he have dug???? I knew what it was for sure...... Its not the deepest MD out there by any means but it excels on ID'ing the targets and thats what sets it apart in my eyes. Most detectors will hit coins down to 6" but will they in trash? I've dug a silver quarter at 6" with 3 nails between the coin and the surface of the ground, dug a silver dime at 4.5" with multiple pieces of fencing wire above it, dug a silver ring at 5" with a nail and a old butter knife handle above it. Thats what makes the ctx a step above in my eyes. But you must put the time in to it like any other MD and learn what its telling you.

Hopefully I never have to sell the F75 se. it will always have a place at my home. If I do get the 3030 r etrac then the f75 se is still my go to machine till proven otherwise. but even if that day comes the f75 will, still get time in like for relic and field hunting and woods. or maybe theres a day I just want to tote a light detector around all day besides a tank lol.
 
Actually the 3030 is still on but im considering the etrac as well. And even the At pro R At Gold maybe... have a handful of very old watering holes that I have found doing some researching that may be awesome for old jewelry and old coins. But the 3030 is waterproof as well so idk... Either way I would also like to get a Go Pro cam to take u guys with me hunting and maybe do some back yard testing and comparing of whatever detector I get compared to the f75. And sorry for the late replys but I been doing some extreme researching and have come up with some very promising looking sites for this year. ground just now froze here the last wee r so no detecting strictly been doing researching and waiting on my income tax return. The 3030 is still at the top on the big purchase btw and thank all of you for the post. THANK YOU and helps a LOT. I still have many threads I will get to later.

Dude, you're whacked. Gonna get a CTX, gonna get a etrac, gonna get an AT Pro, ordered a CTX, ordered an AT Pro, my F75 will still be my go to machine, don't know how to use the F75. How can anyone believe anything you say. You're just entertaining yourself at all of our expense. I recommend getting outside and doing some digging.
