I tried electrolysis on a cruddy dime

I had a Mercury dime that came out of the ground with crud that I couldn’t get off. I tried baking soda and water but no improvement. So I set up an electrolysis bath and I’m impressed. I did electrolysis and then a baking soda and water wash. I also did it on an aluminum token with great results. I did a wheat penny too but it trashed it. I’m going to have fun playing with this!

I based my set up in this video. Added a baking soda scrub after. Rinse and repeat as they say.
