Don't know about you, but I don't get out unless the temp is well above freezing, soil not frozen and wind is fair. Where I'm at, it's been nasty going on 3 weeks now since I've been out. I catch myself checking the weekly forecast now, so Monday looks like I'm outta here swinging again yippeee. Feel like a kid waiting for the first spring recess again. Here's a pic of my last find on my birthday March 14. Love the largies and injuns! Cheers to all you northern swingers! Soil here preserves our coins nicely too.

..... soil not frozen..........

Oh c'mon bottlecap4u : Metal detectors can detect JUST FINE in frozen soil . I bet those LC's give a "beep" JUST FINE in soil that is frozen vs not-frozen. So : What's stopping you bro ? Get out there and detect ! :hornetsnest:

Nice finds. It’s hard for me to sit on the coach. It’s got to be frozen solid or pouring rain to keep me in. Good luck when you get back out.

60+ degrees today. You go get yourself some! I have a couple of campers at Greenwood Acres. I'm out there Thursday's through Sunday most weeks during the season. We should get together and hunt.
