Well, congrats on hitting the goal...I have set them in the past and not much better in life than setting goals and then succeeding.

Congrats on the milestone 400 trapper, that’s a lot of silver! What do you do with it all,you’ll need a brinks truck after a few years of that kind of a haul.Definatly a great way to end the year.

Thank you Pete for your kind words. My last outing if it ends today was the best as AirForceMike hit 100 Silver Coins FTY in that hunt It was his first time and I am extremely happy for him. I have all the Silver Coins I ever dug. The wife gave me a old wooden cigar box and I use it as my treasure chest. When I add this years coins it may be full. Trapper

Congratulations! ALRIGHTY THEN! Four hundred silver coins in one year is a monumental level to reach. You smashed it, and kept on going! I would not doubt you get a few more before the ball drops.
I just gotta get down there some time to hunt with you boys. I will likely do a road trip for a few days next spring.

Kind of like playing ball with Babe Ruth or maybe robbing a bank with Willie Sutton. Anytime I'm anywhere near the People's Republic of Wisconsin, I'd be honored to take you up on it!

Well done, you've had one hell of a year! 400 silvers is mind-blowing, good luck with next year and hopefully you'll get just as many!

I appreciate you kind words Sandy, thank you. While digging over 400 Silver Coins is not a everyday happening, there have been others that have done so before me. As time passes though this will not happen as often as when a Silver coin is removed from the ground it will not be replaced which means less available numbers and opportunity. In this area that I hunt and with the guys I hunt with (almost 800 Silver Coins) it is becoming harder and harder to locate sites that hold quantities of old coins. I do not think I will see this kind of success in the future for these reasons alone. Still my hunts will be with the intention of Silver success but with much lower expectations. Trapper

When you stop and realize the average number of holes dug per 1 silver found, this achievement is most impressive. The total number of plugs you have cut this year has to be ridiculous! Well done!
