It was actually a weaker signal than a can, with my 5x8 coil it sounded like a deep dime.

Nope...not as a silver find.
Still, I have found two of these so far and digging up a big coin like this is still rare and thrilling no matter what it is made of.

Darn I thought mabey I'd slip in a join the club I too found an IKE dollar coin a couple weeks ago!
