is there anyone finding old coins or relics from the 1800's in gwinnett, fulton or cobb county?

I have been hunting in gwinnett county for a year now and not finding these older coins like many detectorists do up north. I know there are areas along the east side of the Chattahoochee river that were populated by settlers in the 1800's. I have found one old copper spoon that seems to be old.

Hey MaxxKatt,
I have been hunting in Gwinnett and Forsyth county for a little over two years and it is tough to find older coins around these area's but it is possible. You cant go to parks and hope to find old coins like in the north east. I am from NY and when I go home you can find silver in a park or a school if its not hunted a great deal.
In the south you need to find older areas that use to be by a factory or where there use to be old homes.
If you look at https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer you can see the older areas and it makes life easier. But what I have noticed is the south will plow down everything and put up bigger building or a subdivision. I have found silver here so I know its possible.
Try to get permission's that seems to be the easiest way to find old coins.
Please let me know if you need help, I'm not like some other hunters that wont share.
Good Luck and HH,
JoshBiz
