Help Identify this little bird and what it's from

Hello Everyone,
I know this is a long shot but maybe someone has seen this little bird somewhere. My son and I where detecting an old logging camp. From all of the other items we found on that location it was from around 1920's to the 1940's. I was thinking it could be a little lid or advertising can or something. I don't know what it could be from. It looks like a little parrot. I'm sure one of your great people have see this before.

That might be a blue macaw, possibly a wind up toy? Though it looks more like a candy container or something?

Possibly could have been a tin toy whistle that made a birdlike noise... seems like I saw something similar once
