Got my 1st permission

Got my 1st permission today at the church across the street from where I live. Been working on this permission few a week or 2 before getting my Nokta Legend. They have a tot lot, sNd volleyball court, soccer fields & by looking at historical aerials looks like it could have been farm land back in the day. Also looks like there may have been a house or 2 on it at one point. Gonna go hit it here in a little bit.

Congrats! I just recently got my 1st permission as well It's a 2.5 acre bomesread that has 2 - 200 year old log cabins on it. I have to wait till June or July though when snow melts lol.

Here are some pics of my finds.... Evidence of use that goes back far enough to potentially find silver & other older coins & hopefully some jewelry.... The cars & Thomas the train came out of the sand volleyball court

Only had it about a week & only out twice in the yard & an hour & a half hunt at my permission today. So far liking it but have tons to learn

Ya me too but really like it. Can't wait to try it out at old sites. That tube is old I have 2 of them. One crest toothpaste and a rubber cement one that says POISON on it lol.

The one I found says permatex number 1 on it

I always find those zinc mason jar lids on old sites. I try to locate the old home sites to get some older targets. Keep it up.

I used historical aerials to look a at the property back to 1957 (1957 is as far back as historical aerials goes for my area) which looks like there could be plowed areas. That pics is a screen shot from Google maps.

I agree with the potential.... Gonna have to get watch face tested..... Folks keep saying it looks silver to them but no sterling or .925 markings on it
