Grats on your years worth of gold mining.
Thanks ..Yes they have been for sure. Saltwater takes a toll on them.

Awesome to say the least...
Thank You, Been a busy year.

Lovely stuff. I need to up my game.
Thanks You, I said the same thing in 2014...

Thank You...Love that buttery color for sure.

:aok: wow all I got is WOW! Congrats!
Thanks, It has been an Amazing ride for sure, just wish this weather would cooperate a little better.

Very nice. Reminds me of the old days when we would ask each other " How many POUNDS did you find this year ?" But I see it's still happening back East. Lots of research and history there. Not so much on the Westcoast. Most here at the time would never count a gold filled piece of jewelry. Me personally , I still don't. Tradition I guess. Kinda like counting all the gold plated junk I find out there. But it's a different era now. In the bays we occasionally find oldies , but along the coast it's exceedingly rare. Regardless , your finds are impressive ! Looks like you may want to consider a portable dredge in some of these areas.

So cool thanks for a little back story. I can’t make much of the pic but that’s probably on purpose lol. I thought it was the lid of an old grand piano [emoji1787]

That's funny...the 5 little dots are the swim platforms, then there was a sea nettle net around the swim area...

Thanks Mr KOB...

No gold plated counted here, it just another piece for the junk pile if it is.

I don't believe there are any hunters on the east coast besides me finding these numbers, even my competition may average around 10 or so a year. I did have one guy track me down a few years ago, but I lost him real quick.

I consider a dredge but just to noisy for where I hunt. It would draw to much attention for sure.

Congrats on the old gold and silva! research definitely paying off. Congrats on a killer treasure year too :waytogo:

Keep going Joe... I know you will top your total from last year having watched you in action up here :) Congrats...
Thanks Buddy, You know if the weather would cooperate I just might..135 is my best.

OBN, that's absolutely amazing! You need a fire-breathing dragon to be watching over that pile of gold. Congratulations!
Thanks Foiled, I do hope the bank has one. This will be going out the end of the year..

Awesome job OBN. Nice shot from out of the sifter :D
thanks Caribb! I got a video coming, just trying to figure out how to hide back ground.

You are on FIRE this year, amazing totals! WTG on the research, that's really the only way these days...
Thanks Zee! All has to do with two spots, One is sanded in now so on this one for the last few weeks.

Very nice. Reminds me of the old days when we would ask each other " How many POUNDS did you find this year ?" .

You know I still hear those stories from a couple old hunters, one said he had jars on the boat for 18k, 14k, and 10k..the other said if they were not finding anything they would do a couple passes in the jetboat to open things up..and funny is,.... he was talking about the same place I'm hitting now. I guess the bad was the only way they could be up on the weather was the TV or New Paper...And the best they had was the Whites Surmaster PI 1000....

Congrats on the old gold and silva! research definitely paying off. Congrats on a killer treasure year too :waytogo:
Thanks Slim! Honestly the research and being able to pick the best days for hunting is a great advantage..
Congratulations for getting into the 3 digits.
Thanks Charly! Not easy for sure but now I can relax ..some...:oldguy:

Those old whites 1st generation PIs were the best. Hip mount and hunt 12 hrs straight. So... it looks like you have a bank hoard of this stuff. What are your eventual plans for it ? Display as a traveling exhibit ? Sell it ? Give it to your kids ? I know it is not easy to sell for more than scrap. Hey , you got pictures. I wish I had pictures of my old finds. Never thought it was going to end was my thought. Now , I just have some pictures of the last few years.

Great Job Joe

Looks like 130 + this year , and you didn't hunt 3-4 weeks
Amazing , I hope you set a record this year in memory of your father , your hard work & dedication has paid off , didn't expect you to hit 100 with 3 1/2 months left in the year , the King :kingdances::kingdances::kingdances::kingdances::kingdances::thumbsup::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::clap::dancing::beers:

Joe, that # 100 is an awesome one to celebrate that 100 mark! man, you don't just find the gold, you work and earn the keeps,,,,,it takes time and knowledge to find those precious spots and you do it well,,,congrats!!!!!,,,GL HH

Thanks Aqua! Hours of research and foot work has netted me two spots that have been very good this year.

Yes, Sir...my 6th year of 100 plus. Besides being very Blessed with the wisdom of...much has came from old folks tells of...And that silver ring is 14k, but a odd one...seems its two rings, one white gold and the front yellow gold...Maybe why the back is dated. Not sure but I've found many interesting rings this year.

WOW! no words,,,,,,

Congrats on reaching that milestone OBN! You are truly inspiring! 100 gold rings would be impressive enough but the old gold just takes it to another level! :wow:

A much edited video..Thanks for watching..
