Of course it is ....... i sent a large amount to Midwest since it WAS near $1650.... got it today.... and right now its $1588. So im expecting to get the short end ...... AGAIN
I figured the market was taking a hit and the gold had gone up and should continue with the world situation.... great timing right? Heyyyy beats the heck out of selling when it was $1150. If it gets back to $1900 we all know things are not good.

THE KOB has an idea ! Maybe next time you can ship it to them and have them hold on to it. Then , time the market for you to say "ok , I'm selling now ". Of course they would have to have a time limit for free , say holding it for 30 days. Otherwise they would charge a storage fee. I believe ARA has that option..... they hold it and you tell um when to cash you in. That may have changed. ARA seems to have more options than MidWest

Give it a week.
Gold's going back up next week when the powers that be finally realize there is no way to turn this around. We could see "limit down" and a complete closing of the markets to prevent furthur financial loss in the very near future.

Of course it will Aqua..... I sent a lot of gold in and it lost like $60 an ounce... once they pay me every one else can sent theirs in after it goes up to $1900 again..... ugh. Every time I sell gold it drops like this. I’m so lucky

Heard that since 2012...except that which can be rigged, will be rigged.
Now’s the time to buy, not sell. On the dip. The gold price is based on contracts, not phyzz. They’re monkeying around with paper, not gold! Push the price a little higher, then dump. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I dont disagree at all. We saw it the last time the powers to be would run it up a bit..... take the profits which made it slump.... run it up again until it finally reached it peak. It could just be starting out... there is just a LOT going on with this virus affecting trade/money/businesses.

Well ...... i just got my check from Midwest. They received and melted the gold on Friday..... i got my check today, Monday. How fast is that? Things that hurt me is when i send it in gold prices were $1640....they dropped during that two day ride... to $1572. I lost a couple of tenths from Troy oz wt received and Troy oz wt after melt. They did pay 95% of melt value and 90% on my silver. Not a lot of confusion.
Troy Oz wt rec'd....... weight after melt..... assay yield%.... Troy ozs contained
% payable (95%)..... Troy ozs payable.... Market price $1572..... Settlement amount $.
Everything seems to be very straight forward...... and FAST. Just pick you time to sell better than i did.
They just have a sheet you need to send in the first time and a copy of your drivers license. Slick as snot........

We were to see $2k gold for almost 10 years now. The price is rigged, like all else. Banks hands are only being slapped for manipulation, probably no end to it in our lifetime.

Took a good bounce up..... $1686. The presidents comments about it going to effect the economy and the FEDS rate...... and just all the dirty laundry going on right now world wide may change this even more. I still think its a big Ponzy scheme buying gold on paper. I much prefer my little treasure chest be filled with a lot of bright yellow.....
