I have a Garrett Grand Master that has had erratic operation due to poor battery connection. This had been problematic over the years. So I decided to eliminate that. Being out of work for a couple of years.. I had to use parts I had on hand. I used an old CMOS battery connector and a couple of male connector pins to connect to the battery connector then used velcro to attach the connector to the bottom of the battery pack to accommodate the limited space in the battery compartment this allows room for the battery cover to be installed.

That looks awesome but I have some questions if you don’t mind . Is the cmos battery connector necessary or is that where you disconnect the wires to take out the battery holder to change out the batteries? Thanks
