Fisher Impulse AQ detector update

There is a great deal of interest in this machine and what it maybe able to do ..... same with the Nox. Its turned out to be a darn good multi use machine.... and great for beach hunting. Thou ML tried their best to scr*w the pooch in getting them and accessories out. I keep hearing we may not see it until Fall. I believe that when the ML sponsored Detectival is.... Sept. Maybe Fisher can bring a game changer and steal a little thunder this year. Otherwise these companies keep showing up to the birthday without a gift.

Keep checking Fisher's Site for information , or at least some fresh video's , NONE, other than forum's were else can we find answer's, ask question's , now for doing so , we look like bad guy's , busting our chop's , but in reality- real time, we will be in the 1st group of buyer's , SO far on this mega thread , NO answer's have happened, another DRAMA :cool12: thread, i am stepping down , can't find out a thing without getting the whip , :takeoff:

Patience is a virtue Earl... something you don't have

Take one of your detectors off the bed and go hunting...

You guys think YOU are suffering from AQ deprivation syndrome? - feel my pain...

Here I sit in a lovely village on the Oslo fjord in Norway, right across from the fort whose guns and torpedos sank the Nazi cruiser Blücher on 9 April 1940 which allowed the Norwegian cabinet, the Royal family and the gold reserves to be rushed out of Oslo and escape the Nazis - keeping Norway in the war to the end (from overseas).

So here I sit, surrounded by woods and pastures hiding god knows what and beaches which have never been detected (Norwegians don’t waste their time on mere modern gold jewels and such trinkets - they have Viking stuff to locate). Yes, here I sit ——

Think I have a secret AQ prototype to play with??? Think again,

My aged Sovereign Xs-2 - modified by my pal Keith Southern, is the only detector with me. The house we are staying at was built about 1800 I’m told, so the small garden is my first target.

Life is so cruel sometimes, guess I will just have to have another expensive beer! Lol

What ......they wont mail you one??? Think of all you could tell us with another week or two under your belt. I see the depth now on a nickel is 20" in the wet sand..... it was 17" soooo that must have been a pretty good upgrade. Ill be digging enough to get a ferr..... non-ferr on those kind of targets. some of you guys digging 500 targets a hunt are going to need some bengay.

Lets add a little fuel........ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pNtGN6rWYk

A tiny lost kitty cat mew from the TDI with GB off at 18” on a nickel - barely distinguishable from the background noise....so sad.

The AQ I had in San Diego hit a 17 - 18” nickel with a solid gong out of utter silence.

Hey but at least I’ve seen video of the TDI doing it. I suspect that was without the battery change.... he could use some coil control too.

That is the beach I found a 13.6 gram platinum ring with a channel set diamond on... with my Dual Field. I was crossing a elevated sandbar which I usually don't bother hunting because they hold Felix pennies and foil... got a deep whisper said what the heck.. glad I did :)

It gets to a point where depth becomes irrelevant. 18" on a nickle. 3 or 4ft on a silver or gold bangle. Try digging those signals up on a consistent basis.. some days when I leave the beach I'm hobbling

I agree Steve ....the reason most of us don’t use um. TIME....vs....pay off. If this one doesn’t have decent disc....it won’t replace many machines.

And what if it does have a “decent disc” - what then??

P.S. Even the 3 year old videos already posted show a “more than decent” disc.

At the risk of repeating myself - again, have a look. Alexandre and the “Euroteam” have been very busy since then.

Then people will look at price. JAGs comment about making BBS and VLFs obsolete.....do you really believe that...if you do you don’t beach hunt enough. Some of us will pay whatever for this machine .....but no one machine does it all in all conditions....or time of the year. If it should have AT Pro issues with that limited depth rating..... what then?

Lets add this from JAGs last post:

with the performance obtained in the iron
even at $ 5000 you would be buying

it will only be 180 gr of 18K
many of us can do this in a month
and other in a day / the world is vast
and there are many beaches filled with gold !

I can not say anything anymore
without being banged, on the fingers...

just this:
if I told you / what he could really do
you could not believe it / have not seen it
and if you were in my place / I would not believe you

imagine the impossible / a beach full of iron
that you consider impossible to prospect
with a bbs / vlf = too much noise too much cut

he will do it / and in silence
he will find you gold

yes I know
the wait is long...........

((you may have one for Christmas, if you are wise spinning smiley sticking its tongue out))

Sooooooooo how many of you guys make $5000 melt a MONTH??? Some indeed would give that much ..... but NOT me. Nor do i believe its going to work in iron as well as he makes us believe..... better than a VLF. Christmas..... gezzzzz starting to feel like a ML commercial.

I don't think I make 1500$ in a year. Last year I got 19 gold but most were less then 3 grams probably worth less than $50 each in melt. My price point for the AQ is $1500 otherwise I'll just use my MDT, Excal, Nox and Dual Field depending upon the beach, depending upon in or out of the water, and looking for new drops or not.

These are my better keepers from 2 fresh water beaches I hunt regulary, along with other detectorist. It has easy access free parking and no one bothers you.
All these were faint signals and all well over a foot deep. These are targets that all other detectors did not see. But the TDI Beach Hunter did. All are good finds but of all these targets only 1 of these rings is GOLD all are old and been there a long time but again you have that ratio of targets to Gold. Will this new Manta be worth the money and wait to see what lies in maybe the next say 4 or 6 inch layer below. Where the target to gold ratio is very low, as we all know

I read that on other forum... its a crock that he thinks it will make BBS obsolete...

The thing about price as well is off.. I for one will not buy a detector like this if its too high... we don't have warm water up here in the NE meaning very few fresh drops and I won't waste my hard earned money on a over- priced detector..

You fresh drop hunters will probably benefit from it though..
