Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Ken and your wife, You will get a slight jump on us being ahead of us time wise by about 13 hours. I imagine a lot of people on here would love a tropical Christmas about now. Keep those pictures coming we really enjoy them. Let us know how the family party goes over there this year. Hope you get the chance to do some detecting this trip , and stay on the good side of the local witch doctor.:detector::tropical::xmas::santa:

Coin popping

I have never heard of coin popping. How does that work?

If you look it up there would probably be a picture of Mud-Puppy next to it. I will let some one else try to explain the procedure , but it involves a long screwdriver or probe to recover the object instead of digging a plug. There are most likely a number of videos on your tube showing how it is done. Mud is considered the King of coin-popping by many around here . You will see his funny photo edit on here in many places with a screwdriver.

Having it out front to keep the mess down ? (after all they are "SLOPPY" joes !)

Ken was ready for the hungry relatives coming to visit with sloppy joes and mac and cheese :laughing::laughing:

I figured some one would come up with a good link on coin popping and I am sure there are lots of good videos on YouTube to show how it is done. I imagine for a price Mud might even teach you all his trade secrets in person.

That is about what it looked like. I had a big pot of sloppy joe and a big pot of mac and cheese. I dont think very much was left over. That was a big treat for them over here. They ate like it was their last meal. We made 2 gallons of tang to drink. I do not serve alcohale here.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

We were kind of figuring that was about how it would go. Good you had enough to go around for the hungry relatives.

I went for a little walk this morning. When I saw a TURKEY on top of a roof. The first thing I thought of was Mud Puppy with his road kill. I had to take a picture for you all. Only in the Philippines do you see crazy things.

Seen lots of native chickens roosting in trees over in the Philippines but never a turkey on a roof yet.
