Because ever since the advent and increasing-use of computers, all the contractors are increasingly going to digital these days. Oh sure, there may be hard-copy blueprints during an actual construction phase of a project, but.... once it comes down to "cold storage" , that is now being done digitally these days. So : Less and less need for cold storage of old blueprints.

Thus you can sometimes find good deals on these cabinet boxes. They often have superior roller glide wheels. And since 99% of our objects tend to be small and flat, most everything we find fits nicely in them . Good for shadow boxes, etc....

You could have at least spelled it KORN , as in the band. Haha..I respect that. Korn Kobs probably in high demand in certain parts for wiping ! I don't think i got enough quality in my opinion to have a cabinet like that. You have more historical stuff. I'm just starting to get into that.

Hey, people getting a good laugh out of them is payment enough

Maybe you could have a real lockbox with a slot saying "deposit 30% here" in the same room for when the guests come visit, maybe they'll deposit 30% of the pull-tabs they found that year

Would be interesting to see what kind of test conditions they come up with. Do they bring in samples of the soil from diffrent parts of the country , is there a white and black sand beach, would think it would be large.

Got so I am pretty good at watching for surface finds now days. Been getting a lot of practice while pulling grand daughter around the neighbor hood in her wagon. Probably spend more time looking down than I should though.
