F2+sniper coil+basketball court= MORE GOLD!

I bet the M stands for Mexico. It could have been dropped by an immigrant.

Michael this camera is cool!
I can also get a free app for my Android phone that can control the camera remotely using the wifi and not only turn it on and off but it will actually show me what it is viewing right there on my phone.
Now I see, you put in the second rechargeable battery and keep recording. I was going to say record the first 20 minutes, since you have found at least one gold class ring on the first target, than skip an hour or two, unless you start finding mercs and wheats, then record what you think might be your last hour there...

Google glass will probably come out of beta eventually, and should be more reasonably priced, but it is basically a voice activated, heads up display that you wear as a visor or pair of glasses. I was thinking you could use glass to view the go pro live, but because glass itself records up to a couple of hours of video, now I am thinking that they are competitors that will not likely cooperate with one another. I see go pro having professional HD and google glass having a stream comparable to a webcam, though...

Ryan I was just through that area this past weekend. I used to live up there....It is a great place.

I found a nice spot about a foot from the rock edge, watching the young bulls in staredown mode against the cliff for 15+ minutes before jumping, building courage, and thinking real hard about clearing the rock edge which out crops 5-10 feet underneath the jumping point. They thought I was one of them, lol! It felt pretty cool and I did not want to leave. Yet somehow, we felt secure with our children playing in the very shallow clean flowing water just 80-100 yards upstream under the footbridge. It was more than a sufficient distance to prevent accidents. One of the coolest spots I have been too.

Did you detect any around there? We were there in May, when we camped at Bucks Pocket SP for an entire holiday weekend. Check out BPSP. I really want to take the family to Dismals Wonder Canyon, and Sipsey Wilderness sometime too.

LOL!

For all of you following this, this is actually a very funny inside joke.
A couple of years ago Ryanchappell and I were planning on spending a whole day hunting so we drove about 25 miles down to a site of a very old abandoned grade school in a small town about 35 miles north of Birmingham.
We got out of his truck, put on our gear and started hunting in a mostly dirt area just in front of the school.
Within the first two minutes there, on I think was only my third signal I got a nice lower zinc number on my F2 and proceeded to dig up the biggest, baddest class ring you have ever seen.
I had to hand it over to him to clean off because my hands were shaking so bad.
Good times.....good times.

Ryan and Digger 27 that sounds like good times! We need to get up and Alabama group hunt.

Ryan, unfortunately that was before I got into detecting much. I was working as a drug agent up there so I didn't have much time anyway. I have a few friends up there that have gotten into it. They have been working an old home place near the Gunterville state Park somewhere. They have found some mini balls and a few late 1800 coin I think.

There was a lot of CW activity around the TN river. I am planning to get a hunt going up that way some time soon. Now my etrac is on the way I have enough machines to take two friends too.

Congratulations on that "gold medal"
Just one question for you digger:

WHERE IS THE REST OF YOUR COIL???????

Congrats on the gold! Sure would recommend stomping your plugs a little rather than just flopping them over. Could see every little hole from your vid. IMO. Nevertheless congrats!
