What about the park workers ? You may be infringing on their jobs or making it more difficult for them .
Canerat, seeing as you are in Taiwan, maybe you can contact their park offices if they have one and see what their take is on that. If they don't have enough help, I'm sure they wouldn't object to any sort of groundskeeping assistance. Our local county park is always accepting our scouts volunteering to help in spring/fall cleaning (weeding of garden beds, mulching, trimming bushes and of course trash pickup) even though they do have their own park staff. hope this helps.
Louie, Canerat isn't asking about legality, but morality. The twain are not necessarily the same.
gotcha, lost track with all the other comments.
well then I feel only Canerat can answer that question. which side of his shoulders will win? the angel side or the devil side? be an angel and let someones odds of finding their lost item increase (or someone else finding it visually) or play devils advocate and help keep someone from finding what they lost. Me personally I would leave grounds as they are and let things play out without interference. besides, I would rather be swinging than playing groundskeeper.
My FREE 2¢!!!
I wouldn't do anything to make it easier for people to lose things. Put yourself in their shoes. IF they lost coins it would be not an issue. How about a wedding ring? The couple might be devistated. I say its not worth the effort for a few coins.
True story. I dive the most dangerous navigatable waterway in the USA. Fishermen use TWO POUND sinkers just to keep the lures near the bottom. They also use 4 - 6 dollar lures. I knew a diver that was planting trash for the fishermen to snag on. Cables and ropes to be exact. WRONG. He would collect their equipment and sell it back to them when he came up. DOUBLE WRONG
I sell two pound sinkers for a dollar a piece. I had absolutely no need to steal them from the fishermen. I believe what goes around comes around.
Again my free 2¢. Not here to judge anybody. Just food for thought.
