ENDED - Scoop Contest Phase 2 is HERE!!

pspapa has posted a lot, here on FMD, however, he has only made 8 posts, since 2015. He posted only 1 time during this contest, and that was the day he picked 171. Nothing's been heard from him since then, concerning the contest, anyway. He has never even acknowledged that he had picked a winner, and very well, may not know.

This isn't good. I hope it's not a couple of years, before he pops back in....:no:

I didn't know that. I really don't know what to do in this situation. I guess it is my contest and I can change the rules. I will mull it over and make a decision to go forward or wait tonight. Not fair to the rest of you folks. I did send him a PM yesterday. Thanks. I am still waiting for one more who PM'ed me and said they will have theirs in this morning. Off to the DR. Will be back later. Going to clad hill for a while also.
 
I would say (and others may groan), but give him to the end of the day (11:59pm EDST). Even though he hasn't been super active lately, he may just be busy, or...?

Then at Midnight, he looses his guess?

Yep, just go to his profile page and click on the stats tics tab, then "all posts by pspapa", and you can see every post, in order. Only 7-8 this year....:shock:
 
Maybe for the future people have 24-48 hours to post unless coordinated (to account for extenuating circumstances)?
 
After you have decided you have given him enough time to reply. Use the random number selector and submit a response for him. Just a thought

? I don't think that you just submit guesses daily in this part of the contest. Scuba has got to ask for a guess first, and you might not be in the group asked to guess, based on your previous guess (?). You are only assured one guess at this point, if you don't make the top 15, you won't need to guess again....you may be jumping the gun just a bit....

Only saying, nobody has guessed but once (at this point), and there is still one out there (?) missing, but you are already speaking about submitting your third vote, which can only confuse things for others. Scuba is fully aware of the delima, and I bet, right now, he is contemplating a solution for getting his turtles moving 🐢🐢🐢🐢 No need for pressure.....

Here is what I have decided. I want to do another one of these contests with the same prize in the fall. If no response by midnight I think it is fair to move on.

However, he will automatically be entered into any other contest I make with another scoop as the prize. I have thought this over and I think that is a very fair solution.

I also want to let everyone in on some GREAT news for the winner.

I just got an email from Chuck at Stealthscoops.com.

He was impressed with this contest and the following it received. He is going to give the winner the choice of a hybrid (smaller holes in back) or the regular one at no extra charge. AND one more small detail.

SHIPPING WILL BE ON HIM!!!!


I thanked him and I am sure the winner will also thank him. I am VERY glad I went to him with this idea. An awesome guy with an awesome product.
