This is a fairly common ring design here. I found a carbon copy of the one pictured two years ago.

That is a metal detecting lottery winner. Just think if you had gotten up on the day you found this and said, nah, I don't have time to detect today. You never would have known what you missed.

It's amazing to me that someone would go swimming at the beach wearing ~ $10K worth of jewelry!! Reminds me of some of the MLB players that routinely wear (seemingly real) heavy gold chains when playing baseball.
