Deus 2 Owners Problem Alert

This alert is coming from Deus 2 owners with lots of Deus experience. They know what they are talking about here so if you own a Deus 2 you might encounter this problem.

Not sounding an alarm here. Just trying to be helpful.

I am amazed that these new detectors like Deus 2 and the Legend are working as well as they are with minimal problems considering the advanced nature of their software engineering. I sure am glad they can be updated easily by the user.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll make sure my coil is within range when doing a scan. Hopefully they get it sorted out with an update.

I emailed Xp in France directly last night on this issue.
They already replied and are looking at this.
I even in my email said, remember most folks coils are paired when they receive units. Therefore not many folks obviously doing freq scans with no coil paired.

So yes with no coil paired (even if coil is in close proximity), don’t be doing freq scans.

Imo Xp needs to have full reset procedure on these remotes. An overriding reset procedure.
