Detecting in and around Denver

Hello All,
Hoping to find some locals to the Denver area to give me a rundown on detecting in the area. From what I could find, it seems like the Denver area is kinda anti-metal-detecting. I have a job opportunity that would bring me to the Denver area (Greenwood Village). Just a little worried I will be stuck asking for permission for every place I want to hunt. Thanks in advance for the input!

There's a club in Denver. Have you looked into that? See where those guys are hunting. A buddy of mine is from Ft. Collins, and has made the drive to attend some of their meetings in the past. I recall him saying that the oldest-biggest downtown park had given up a lot of silver over the years. But ..... no doubt .... pounded to smithereens by now
