Designing anti-metal-detector underground storage

Forget all these far-fetched , preposterous ideas. Just way too expensive , hard to retrieve and you have to trust at least one other person. Not doable.

Convert all of your worldly assets into diamonds ! Yes , that's right.... Then get some balloons , place diamonds into multiple balloons , tie in knot , and SWALLOW. Now , all of your wealth will be carried in your intestinal tract to go with you on your run from the zombie apocalypse ! When you go to the bathroom , retrieve balloons before flushing , rinse off and repeat the process. Diamonds are lightweight "liquid" assets.

Make sure to purchase toilet paper at different locations as to not arouse suspicion from store clerks during checkout. Also carry some laxative in your "GO" bag. Just incase you have a "pressing need".

You can thank me later , THE KOB

Sorry, I disagree. Diamonds are quite difficult to judge for a proper payment level, and one would have to have a large size assortment to fill the need at any given time. On top of that, you suggested storage and retrieval method(s) are unnecessarily difficult.
If one finds themselves in a SHTF situation, the top commodities are, gold, silver, lead, powder, weaponry, and vet meds. Old school trading and bartering.

But, this is going off on a tangent, so I'll endeavor to be quiet.

Just noticed the OP has not logged back on the forum since 4 minutes after he started this thread over a week ago, still an interesting thread though
(of course he might have checked back as a guest to read any replies without logging on)

Suppose I am building a structure on a concrete slab of perhaps 100ft x 50feet in size, with a slab thickness of 6". At one or more locations beneath the slab I'd like to bury, for instance, a 2" diameter x 6" long PVC pipe containing silver coins, say, 30" below grade. (So, 8" of concrete, then 22" of soil cover.)

Suppose you use 6" diameter x 36" long PVC pipe with a plastic cap instead? The giveaway is the lid. Anyone tearing up your slab is looking for something to start with and if they see a lid the first thing they say is "Ah Ha" LOL
