Church of the Compadre...

My biggest gold ring was found with the Compadre.

KT's only 2 gold rings were recovered using a Compadre....running wide open at a depth of 8"...First one was a 10K ladies recovered in a Totlot in Galveston, TX while learning to use the Compadre. Second one was on a sand volly ball lot, that His Majesty had hunted that same day and go NO signals. So....out came the Compadre and KT got two signals, one near the edge turned out to be a metal toy car, and the other near the net, and it was a small 14K toe ring!

Alas, the last time KT turned on the Royal Compadre, it was dead. KT knows he could send it back to the factory with its lifetime warranty and get it fixed but not going to bother!

King compadre

DIGGER27 was right about the COMPADRE having a magical quality to it. I bought mine 12 years ago after reading some unsually positive reviews. I use it for lost ring searches in particular. The stars and planets aligned for this particular detector. That doesn't happen very often.

I haven't used a detector in awhile because of a new hobby but i came in for a visit and see all the posts about the new top detectors names i never heard of... im like wow no more tesoro fisher or at pro posts but then i see it,,,,the church of the compadre is still
going strong!!! I think i have 7 compadres in my attic along with a bunch of other tesoros which i always loved but those compadres yeah that was such a fun machine for me and here in Plymouth Massachusetts i found soo much with them I hope this thread never dies

doubt it ever will!..just before Tesoro "croaked' they introduced the "Mojave"
basically a compadre with a ground switch, and a terrific new coil the precision 7" thin concentric coil.i own one, and gotta tell ya,it's just a "crackerjack" combo.
almost impossible to find now, as people hang on to them.ones that pop up for sale are going for "tall money!"

(h.h.!)

Just picked up a Compadre to complement my Bandido 2 µMax, Tejon, and two Deeptechs. Remarkable machine. Just made a few quick passes over Monte's nail board and it smashed it. Better than anything I've owned. That little 6" coil really sniffs out.
