I like to hear some reviews on the raven shovel from predator tools.
Predator barracuda user here. After owning this shovel for a couple years, I give it an A+! Hands down most durable shovel I've used, and I've owned my fair share if T & D handled shovels. I've been using it in sand and rocks as well as ice. It has definitely worn down a little, which would be expected, but it has never come close to breaking. I highly recommend predator shovels!!!
As the latest person to this thread, I just ordered the Predator Phoenix and also the Raptor hand digger for parks. I sure like the looks of the plugs paystreak gets with that Phoenix. I have a Lesche hand digger now and as durable as it is, it isn't always convenient.
I have a predator phoenix on the way will let everyone know my thoughts on it
Paystreak has a recent video of that shovel and I didn’t realize it had a dish shaped blade and how that can help digging a neat plug. Please let us know what you think of it after you get to use it a while.

I just got the Phoenix shovel today and took it out for a few digs in the snow. This thing is built like a little tank. Works as advertised. The only issue I could see with it is if someone was 6' tall or taller. I'm 5'10 and it's just right for me.
