ANYONE SELLING THEIR SILVER PLATED RELICS?

JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY VALUE? I REMEMBER SELLING A SHOE BOX FULL OF PLATED SILVERWARE I HAD DUG BOTTLE DIGGIN IN LIKE ABOUT 1980.... THE PART I REMEMBER IS THE 90 DOLLARS I WALKED OUT WITH... IS THIS STILL A THING? I MAY HAVE TO CASH IN?

I know of nobody who collects or pays for silver plate. personally, I just toss it.

Most shops won't even buy SOLID silver anymore unfortunately. I sold a little gold a few years back, there was a woman in front of me trying to sell silver, and she had a good amount. She thought the shop owner was ripping her off with his offer (which was VERY generous) so she called him a crook and walked out. She clearly didn't look at the silver scrap price before leaving the house

I am pretty sure plated stuff has not value other than scrapping it for copper or brass.
