Thanks for the kind words everyone I am doing some research on who the property belongs to, to see if I can find the rightful owner. I've already posted the ring on several lost and found websites.

I am jealous Nice find.. I have an XLT what VDI did you find the ring at? I have found a small piece of gold chain here and there, but no rings I wonder what I am missing. Anyway nice fnd. Mike

Well, it was a vacant lot, obviously overgrown and unmaintained. There were not any posted nor any no trespassing signs. That was enough for me.
