Another first for me! So exciting!!!

Maybe try and find the owner? Not a lot to go on, but if he's local you may stand a chance. Of course Cindy and him may have split up years ago and he threw the ring away. :)

Nice find, I had to laugh when you said you took a quick look aroud to see if anyone was watching. Makes you feel like you are stealing don't it? :) Gold will do that to you. good luck, Jim

Thanks for the kind words everyone :) I am doing some research on who the property belongs to, to see if I can find the rightful owner. I've already posted the ring on several lost and found websites.

I am jealous :wow: Nice find.. I have an XLT what VDI did you find the ring at? I have found a small piece of gold chain here and there, but no rings I wonder what I am missing. Anyway nice fnd. Mike

Thanks Mykie . . . It came up right around 33 - 35 vdi. Just in pull tab range, I usually skip over pull tab signals. . . i wonder how many other gold items I've missed? ? ?

Now that's what I call getting permission FAST! Oh, you said you just hunted it right then....

I guess whatever works, right? Nice ring.

Well, it was a vacant lot, obviously overgrown and unmaintained. There were not any posted nor any no trespassing signs. That was enough for me.

Someone still owns it... Just saying that we all abide by a code of ethics...or, should...
