Well, today KT was out and about to eat lunch and visit a few pawn shops. First shop did not have the pistol His Majesty was looking for, but had a reasonable stock of ammo! Fortunately, there were some of the calibers He was looking for, including some boxes of .410 shells #8 shot, so KT picked up a few boxes! Then on to Wendy's and a Dave's single combo! Onward to the second pawn shop, and only a .44 mag western style revolver...just to darn big a pistol and His Majesty is not interested in having to build another caliber ammo stock! However, they had some 12 gauge slugs, at $2.00 a box less than what KT had been buying at the high priced gun dealer shop! So picked up two more boxes. Along with that, they had some American made CCI Blazer .380 so got a box of that. Finally onward to the third shop, where KT found two nice Ruger .357 revolvers, newer models, one with hammer and one without, stainless. KT had been hoping to pick up another Ruger Security Six double action, but that appears impossible locally, so KT put some money down on the used model that was nice and around $50 less than the new one. When He went to pay the owner, he said, "Oh you will like this pistol, it was mine. No more than a dozen rounds of .357 run through it." KT has a strong affinity for Ruger handguns!
So in summary, it appears that at least at some ammo dealers, things are starting locally to ease up concerning the scarcity of ammo.
Will pay this hand gun off as soon as the Biden money hits the Royal Bank Account!!
357's are awesome as you can also stock up on 38 Special ammo for them . Ruger makes some fine guns at great prices and stainless is the way to go . Sounds like the King did quite well .The Surgeon has an affinity toward
the old Ruger Mark 1 semi-auto 22 pistols and the newer improved offerings of this design .Enjoy your new shooter !
We've engineered vaccines and began administrating them, and they require development, within a year. Why hasn't the ammunition factories punched out ammo to catch up? If hoarders caused a surge or panic, then it's been enough time for manufacturing and restocking ammo like 357 and 22 rim fires. I just don't get it. Those ammunition foundries shoulda been able to just turn the dials up. It's not like creating a vaccine from scratch.

They do. They've been running three shifts a day for the past year. Thing is, they don't want to front the capital to expand facilities and equipment, which will probably be completed just in time for the panic to die down, because it will take so much longer to recover the cost. From a business perspective, it makes sense for a conservative to moderate risk decision.
