When you join this forum you will help yourself a lot by doing the following upon joining or if you have not done so, do it now.
1) put your city and state in your profile
2) put your metal detector make and model there also.
3) the type of hunting you do, eg coin, relic, beach, civil war etc.
Why?
there are many very experienced detectorists here who have your make and model detector and hunt the same things you hunt.
It helps them to give advice if they know the above information.
This helps the great guys and gals who spend their time on this forum welcoming and helping newbies. We were all newbies at one time so most of us will help you all we can.
