I had today off so I decided to hit my newly discovered honey hole. I am gridding out sections of the field and working each zone slow. First, I got a nice gold tone and number on the E-trac. I cut the plug and turned it over and discovered a religious 10K gold medal! It weighs in at 3.3 grams good for about $60.00. I finished out that zone and started another. I got a nice choppy high tone but the numbers were off. I turned 90 degrees and it still sounded off. I cut the plug and dug down about 8 inches to discover a coin spill. The following coins were in the spill: 1934 Mercury dime, Buffalo nickel and two Wheat cents. About six feet away from the spill I got a 1943 Mercury dime. I then moved to my third and final grid of the day where I dug a 1957 silver Washington quarter. All in all, my best hunt of the year. Not bad for three hours
