civil war bullet

Does anyone have a clue as to what caliber this bullet is? Found in an area with lots of other standard civil war minie balls. Could it be a miss cast? I thought I have seen one like this before, but I can't find anything close to it!

Picked these up on an 1868 battlefield in Japan. Shot by Imperial soldiers at the Shogun’s forces. Measure 1.03” long, about .56” diameter. I understand forces on both sides were using imported muskets and rifles.

I have only found dropped bullets and I just want confirmation that these are civil war bullets as well. Both weigh 28 grams. Thanks in advance.

haven't gotten to detect in quite some time. Finally got out today for about an hour in my own yard lol. Just moved back to tennessee recently and in my driveway i found what i believe to be a civil war bullet and also found a nudie coin buried in my yard. on the forum i've seen the cw bullets...
