I purchased my first detector back in July (bounty hunter discovery 2200). I picked this up for about $100 or so and really really enjoyed it. Since then I have gone out detecting every chance I've had. I have yet to find any silver, but I have found around $15 in coins, an old rail road...

I don't do night mding, but still can't see in the hole with the built in light on the TRX, and with the shorter days I'm having even more trouble seeing in the holes during dusk. I've mentioned the frogleggs night vision light to help with the TRX pinpointer, and to help see non-back lite...

so I returned a defective Garrett 350 and got the At Pro today Awesome. Checked front yard again. Found $0.47. One of the coins was a 1916 wheat. Rest clad and junk. Going to try big coil tomorrow.
