Home is in Stuart, work in Narrows

I see there are people here from Dublin and Blacksburg. Haven't worked at Narrows but for 2 years, so I don't know anything about this area. Just getting back into the hobby after a long break. The post about Jefferson National Forest was pretty interesting....
 
Hey there fellow Virginians. I'm over in Southampton County. New owner of an Ace 350 as of 4 days, haven't put it to the ground yet. Reading and watching the owners material to be prepaired for "trash removal".

I'am willing to let someone take me under their wing and school me in the fine art of metal detecting. :-)
 
Im in extreme SW Virginia and its not as bad here in the rural community as you all have in the big cities.......BUT......times is changing here as well. It getting harder here and there is talk of new mding laws.

West Loudoun county here. I picked up an Ace 250 two weeks ago. Once the Shad run is over I plan to make it out for at least a few hours a weekend.

I'm in Northern Virginia. I've had my X-Terra 705 for about a month now and am looking to really put it to the test. If anyone is looking for a detecting buddy, let me know. I'm free most weekends.
 
Going to hunt an old church.

If anyone's interested I'm going Monday the 15th. It's an old church built in 1801. I'll probably leave sometime in the early morning from Herndon, Va. It's about an hour away. It's a small area so only one guest is welcome. Let me know.
 
I will soon be a transplant to VA, settling on a new house in Fredericksburg on May 28, want to be hunting by the end of June, or early July, once I get moved in, and can find my detectors again.

I will likely post my own thread once settled, but if anyone sees this, and wants to go out together, I woudl love to. All of my hunting buddies will be left behind in maryland, as well as all my spots, so I will be looking for a new partener or group...

Are there any clubs down here? I havent been able to find anythign using google...

I would let you have them, but all of my spots are shared with two other guys have hunted with, so cant do it... Sorry... Plus, I may need to keep driving north to hunt if I cant find any spots down here!
