My hunting buddy got kicked off a piece of property the other day that showed BLM ownership. The owner of the property said it's been a common occurrence with hunters using On-X. The good thing was it gave an easy out.
I found some former city owned land near my place is now privately owned. Watch out for the paperwork lag times as well, it takes a while to update the property tax records when a property is sold.

only tax address. Was thinking of subscribing but keep putting it off. Question-does it ever provide phone numbers ? Or only addresses?
You can pay for the upgrade package that gives all the info you want. I like regrid.Regrid (play store) is free but does not provide anything other than owner's name....so you would have to search from there, but it will tell you if the town, school, county, etc. owns it...
I use BaseMap. I think the yearly subscription is $30 or $35? I use it for mountainbiking and for detecting. It's clearly made for hunters, but it's useful to me also.Does anyone use a different program? Now after 5 years of buying the Connecticut state, they put ads on the start up screen. Found it hard this am to get to my deer stand with an ad over my route. I emailed them and they said sorry, "we need to keep the lights on and pay the employees". So, now I am looking for a different program.
For hunting and seeing private owned land i use Basemap, plenty of options similar to On X and others including private land info (owners and addresses), just much cheaper yearly.Does anyone use a different program?
