I am always amazed by the quality and age of your finds. As a collector of ancient coins (cheap ones) the idea of finding one that hasn't been touched by another human for nearly 2,000 years blows me away. You have ended the last year and started out 2022 very well.

WOW! Awesome finds.

I recently found my first pre 1900 coin, If I found something like those I would do cartwheels........... :excited:

Nice digs as always!

When you "talk to the animals", do they reply?!?:p;)
(those guys/gals look ready to attack!)

Dang that’s a lot of targets and amazing quality too :wow:

Love the sheep pic, I usually just talk to myself  would be nice to have some sheep to claim I was chatting with them instead of myself

I like the location field scenery shots. Puts a "face" on the finds !

Thank you for your kind comments.

At the moment the weather gods are being kind to me although I have been out in freezing temperatures the ground is so wet it's easy to dig.

Keeping warm is the problem with the wind chill factor well below zero.

Thermals and several layers of outer clothing is not vogue but who cares.......;)

Amazing finds Doug! Those sheep look very interested, but keeping their distance. Talking to them is fine, but I wonder if you weren't orating a great speech to them.
