First I must say the weather was just perfect. Second on a sad note I sorta had to "take care" of two people. My husbands back went out on him before we went, even after two trips to the VA emergency room was still not better, but he insisted that we go. The friend we took is somewhat handicapped but you'd thought she could not do anything...but being the lovely person that I am I took on all the responsibilities of anything that had to be done. I did get out 3.5 days, one day I just had to take off. Well I ended up with $4.64 with most of that today. I found the Samsung s9 today and called the number, he is stopping over this afternoon to pick it up. He said his dog buried it. Dang 🐕 dog. Now that gorgeous ring I found at a Salvation Army, I almost didn't stop but I figured I'm here why not. Well I saw it in front of a woman who was looking at the jewelry and I say"excuse me I need to look at that". Well don't you know it is 14kt. white gold and CZ. ($2.99) It is marked MEDA. So I look it up, used are going for $200-$300. I'm like wowzer. Not found in the sand but I'll still call it my beach find. Am pretty bushed right now, am looking forward to getting home and getting the knee back on the right track. Happy hunting to all of you! ****UPDATE**** I can't believe I forgot to mention that I forgot my sand scoop...I was absolutely frantic. I ended up finding the "scoop" pictured, at a Dollar Tree. There was no way I was purchasing another one so this was what I was digging with..LOL

Nice finds! I really like the ring in the second photo. What’s it made of? I found a big honker of a ring today in a playground. It’s fancy looking, but nothing expensive.

That is like silver(?) over copper. Let out a howl of a signal. Too bad it wasn't silver because I do love the style.

That ring is a Royally Great Find! Right out from under the nose of a competitor!:laughing::laughing:

I've gotten pretty bold about doing that. I'm thinking about changing out the main stone as it is pretty scratched and does have a chip. I'm thinking maybe a medium canary yellow cz would look nice.

Confession time: I've got three of those scoops and I keep one in my backpack. There are times when I'm dealing with smaller/hard to spot stuff and the plastic scoop is non-metallic and sieves as well, to reduce volume. My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be. I seem to work a lot of rocky soils and roots, so nice plugs are out of the question.
