Found 14K and my She Pirate beat me!

Well, I pulled up a pretty 14k, 5.2 gram ring with a green stone. Well, Mrs. is feeling a bit left out. It has been a while since she found gold. We detected 2 hours and didn't have more than $2 in change and the 14k. So we moved to another beach. Her first target, 6 feet into the water, BINGO! 18K 5.1 gram band. I try to beat her at finding more or better stuff but in reality I hope I find a fortune and she beats me!
I am so happy she hit a good one. I love my bikini clad she pirate!

SHOULD HAVE BEEN 3 GOLD! I had a 3 gold ring day a few weeks ago and did the same 3 spots but only got 2.

WOW! You nailed it. That's exactly what happened. I listed the 18k band for sale. It is only a size 8, so a pinky ring if I kept it but I have a big ruby pinky ring already.
She will move on to another ring and I will probably be able to sell the 14k eventually.
