Which coil to use

Going to the Jersey Shore for a weeks vacation and will be bringing my simplex.
I have the stock round 11" dd coil and also just bought the SP-24 5X9"coil.
It's VERY tight in our camper and really only have room for the detector with no extras.
Of the two coils which one would you bring and why.

I'm thinking the stock round to cover more area in one swing?

I have both coils. After getting the SP24 i have twice put the big coil back on. Both times it was off in 5 minutes or so. Just so "chatty".
Not sure why that's so.

Have had more success with the smaller coil too.

I have heard/read that the SP-24 coil makes the machine more stable and less chatty so to speak, you will lose a little depth with the smaller coil, but that may not amount to much depending on your local conditions. Enjoy your holiday and happy hunting

If it is a trashy area i would go with the smaller coil.
