Caution OBN

OBN/ Cfm-ct

I am glad to see both of you keep updated on those hazards , I will pass on chin deep, and maybe I will re- think having a woman around the house :hide:

 If you see seals around.. stay out of the water Earl. I had something the other day that I must have distrubed. It was big ..I would say at least 4 foot long and 4 foot wide.. My guess it was a Skate or ray. Woke me up quick with a big splash and swooch...Got it on video..when I come across it I will post it.. my words.. WTH was that!

Ya got to watch them to , when I was little a skate approached my uncle , we were clamming at the time , he jabbed it with a clam rake , that animal guy I think died of a barb from a ray or skate , not sure which , but took his life , I thought you were not doing anymore chest , or neck deep hunting , are you kidding me ? :?:

Steve "crikey" Irwin was the guy. I loved his shows. It was a giant ray that he holding into , riding it. The Ray's tail and barb got him in the chest. From what I understand , it was filmed. But too graphic to be released.

Looks like a dorsal fin to me , how about everyone else  :holycow::surrender: OBN since you have shark experience come on down , we will go 60 miles out , I have a shark permit , Ill let YOU handle all the inbound howboughtit :?::lol: OBN -- My opinion , that was a Thresher Shark , the large splash was from the tail, they use that as a weapon , and the dorsal fin matches , good eating , WE will go out fishing 4 Thrasher buddy , grab that tail , you will have him landed  https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=thresher+sharks+you+tube&view=detail&mid=9D8DFA30723508672E739D

I don't know Joe... you would think if it was a dolphin it would have come up for air... I think what you were thinking it was, was wishful thinking... just my opinion.

Could have been a large striped bass, maybe a ray or even your guardian shark making sure you don't get into trouble again ;)
