My hunts for the last few weeks have been absolutely hopeless.
Today I hit one of my favourite spots and noticed the sand at low tide was a bit lower than usual.
Started getting a few sinkers and then a 1964 sixpence.
I got a nice booming signal and scored a silver ring.
Straight away I noticed in the hole that the nice thick clay was showing .. now this looked promising. Not more than a metre away and out pops this bad boy .. 8 grams of 9ct gold.
Things are looking up!:pirate2:

:dingding: That's why its important to know your beaches. Congrats on the gold!

well as it *just so happens*, I was in Australia last week. And I (ahem ahem) lost that gold ring there. Kindly ship it back to me. If you need a description and weight, to prove ownership, I shall be happy to provide that info :cool3:
