Haven't been out a lot lately trying to get ready for spring and summer before the heat hits. The gold hoops are marked 14k Israel. Paid $2...found a pair identical for $145 online. Very light at 1.36 grams. These I'll wear. The 3 rings in the same picture I bought on market place for $162. I just liked the one but decided to get them all at that price..10kt. at 11 grams, still less than scrap. The band ring I got maybe 6 weeks ago marked CB10KP. CB I believe is for Carl Baumiester(?) an Austrian jeweler from the 30s maybe 40s. When the guy said he bought it from Britain I figured it was that guy. I paid $80 for it but I really just wanted another band ring. I have one coming now from Fl. which is a Fredrick Goldman band size 14 for my husband. That one is only $40. Not too much out in the thrift shops..when I've gone but that's the way it goes.

Great scores!
I miss yard sales, so much stuff still out there... I always made a point of asking if they had any costume jewelry and they would almost always bring a box out, many times with real gold mixed in.

Nice stuff. Even when you are paying "real" money, you get a good deal on your gold! I don't know about the CB, but I do know the "P" after 10K stands for Plumb. It means the ring is made of at least the full 10K gold; not the standard 10K, which is usually between 9.5 and 10K. The P stamp therefore makes it more valuable. I bet you already know this, but I thought I'd just put that out there.
